5 Ways You Can Use Deception in a Mythos-like AI Era

Insights from the Latest Global Network Security Report

A Closer Look at the Threats Challenging Enterprise Network

The Understanding the Latest Trends in Global Network Security report reveals that the cybersecurity landscape is rapidly shifting, with AI-driven cyberattacks, ransomware attacks, phishing threats, vulnerabilities in the cloud, and identity-based attacks driving the change.

The report focuses on the fact that AI is increasingly being used by cybercriminals to automate their phishing campaigns, create deepfakes, bypass standard cybersecurity defenses, and even speed up the rollout of malware. It also explores the increasing ransomware attacks, supply chains, and cloud security threats that are interfering with enterprises around the globe.

The report covers the growing trend of implementing advanced cybersecurity practices like Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), AI-driven threat detection, behavioral monitoring, threat intelligence integration, and proactive threat hunting.

The report also examines the growing enterprise attack surface created by hybrid work environments, SaaS platforms, APIs, and cloud-native infrastructures, and how automated, continuous monitoring and defense is more important than ever. The key findings include that phishing represented 83% of all email attacks in 2025 and the number of ransomware victims grew by almost 389% worldwide. Security researchers also noted that it could now take 24–48 hours after a vulnerability is discovered for the attacker to exploit it.

The report offers a wealth of information on current cyber threats, new attack techniques, advances in AI-powered security, and what steps organizations can take to enhance their security measures and boost operational resilience.
