Enhancing Cybersecurity with Deep Session Inspection
Fidelis Deep Session Inspection® (DSI) technology analyzes network, email, and online traffic to identify threats and data leaks.
Deep Session Inspection (DSI) reassembles network traffic into application content, allowing for in-depth analysis to detect malware and data breaches. You can deploy DSI as network, email, and web sensors to monitor streaming traffic. By decoding the reassembled network session, DSI can identify the application protocol, application, and embedded content, extracting important metadata at each stage. This visibility into network traffic enables the establishment of policies for properly detecting threats and data leaking.
DSI enhances content with context, making policy creation easier. Upon detection, activities such as generating alerts, executing preventative measures such as deleting packets or quarantining emails, and kicking off response playbooks are immediately implemented.
By combining DSI with machine learning, sandboxing, threat intelligence, and active deception, you can provide strong threat detection across the kill chain, detecting threats and data leakage attempts both in real time and retrospectively.
