Fidelis Cybersecurity Appoints Industry Leader Michael Evans as Chief Marketing Officer

Former Mandiant and FireEye executive to lead global marketing effort for leader in advanced threat defense

Evans will lead the effort to expand the company’s global marketing, branding, communications and sales enablement activities. He brings 20 years of experience in building successful brands, defining new markets and launching new products that drive significant revenue growth.

Evans’ experience in driving companies to market leadership is notable. As vice president of marketing at Mandiant, he established the company as one of the most respected brands in security, contributing to the $1 billion acquisition by FireEye. Following the acquisition, Evans served as vice president of marketing at FireEye. Prior to Mandiant, he served as vice president of marketing at Approva, a continuous controls monitoring software vendor, which competed against tech powerhouses SAP and Oracle. Evans also drove the marketing and brand refresh at Aspen Technology, where he successfully repositioned the company’s product portfolio to support the company’s go-to-market strategy.
